Veneers
Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-coloured materials designed to cover the front side of teeth to improve the overall appearance of teeth. The strength and appearance of our porcelain veneers rivals that of natural teeth and they're used to make long lasting changes to the smile.
They can also be used to restore chipped, worn, discoloured or misshapen teeth as well as being very effective in closing spaces between teeth.
Most of the veneers we make today though are for patients that ask for smile enhancements and are used as part of Smile makeovers. At Notley Dental Care we understand the need for a comprehensive smile analysis and we will listen to your requests and expectations.
In many veneer cases we will use 3D template models that are placed on your teeth to visualize how they will look before we have even touched them.
Tooth preparation is minimal and confined to the enamel structure. The veneer is thereafter bonded to the tooth structure with tooth-coloured resin cement.
