Porcelain inlays / Porcelain onlays
In the case of larger cavities, a porcelain inlay or onlay may provide the best solution. The big advantage of these is that they are much more durable than white fillings, lasting up to 30 years. Fillings often reduce the strength of a tooth but porcelain inlays / porcelain onlays can sometimes increase a tooth's strength.
